Five tribes of sound unite in 2027 for the Holy Rites of Prog Rock.
The veil will lift once more as Temple of Prog III summons believers, dreamers, wanderers and minstrels from across the ages to gather in a place where music and mysticism entwine. In 2027, the Temple reawakens!
Born from imagination, complexity, and intellect, progressive rock remains an art form that defies musical boundaries. This year, five visionary acts — the Five Tribes — will guide the congregation through realms of emotion, mystery, and a bloody good time.
From the mist-veiled highlands emerge COMEDY OF ERRORS, Scotland’s most revered neo‑prog storytellers. Their music weaves a shimmering fabric of sound, where melody and rhythm open portals. The scene is set; the stars take their places.Through celestial gates stride HAZE, resplendent in costume; conjurers of tone and theatre. These wizards of the stage blend soul, blues, folk, ambient, and electronic energies, crafting a sonic spell that draws the audience into their otherworldly orbit. Then enters the JOHN HACKETT BAND — seasoned adepts whose near‑telepathic unity draws the past and the future into soundscapes of effortless grace. Pastoral flute lines drift upon currents of inventive guitar work, each phrase a communion of heart, history, and imagination. Then from the shadows, the sextet EBB step forward, channeling raw humanity into celestial form. They generate a universe of sound, motion, theatre and film; reflecting the vastness of the human experience — fierce, fragile, and unyieldingly alive. And to close this sacred day? The eternal flame burns, through ATOMIC ROOSTER, vanguard of British progressive music. Their proto‑metal energy rises like fire through the Temple — Hammond organ roaring, rhythms surging — a cosmic thunder marking the final ascent.
Temple of Prog III is not simply an event; it is a rite of passage — a journey through sound, spirit, and shared devotion to the infinite possibilities of music. The faithful will gather. The cauldron will bubble. The Temple shall live again!
